E-commerce Caoa Cherry
Company: BETC Havas and Havas Market
Client: Caoa Cherry
My Roles: Delivery Director / Tech Director
Challenge
It consists not of a traditional e-commerce, but rather a tailored solution to meet the clients' needs with functionalities similar to a marketplace, where users could view the inventory of different Caoa dealerships and already execute credit analysis and documentation processes for the purchase of new and used vehicles.
Solution architecture for Caoa Cherry's E-commerce. In this phased project where the platform would be launched with different features over time, my multidisciplinary team composed of technology professionals, product design, and operations management was involved in the conception of the platform architecture.
Roadmap Perspectives
In the roadmap of this project, we considered not only the vehicle acquisition processes but also the overall needs of consumers, including services such as scheduling revisions, sale of parts, partnerships with authorized mechanics, and insurance companies.
Approach
To meet the needs, a small squad was created comprising:
1 E-commerce Speciallist;
1 UX Manager;
1 UX Designer
1 UX Writer;
1 Solutions Architect;
1 Scrum Master.
This squad was responsible for day-to-day processes in the rapid evolution of project and operated within the operational model.
Design System/Atomic Design
Once we had a well-defined operational model in place, we adopted the strategy of implementing this squad in three pillars.
The establishment of the foundations of the Design System that would enable a robust framework of high quality;
The day-to-day operation, which, due to the solid Design System, could evolve faster without the need for excessive members at the squad.
Scalled solutions based on Atomic Design, to increassely evolve during the time.
